By accessing both archive and real time satellite data the SolarSAT system offers two types of functionalities that can be distributed either as independent or as combined services:

• SolarSAT PV-Planner: to choose where and how to install a new photovoltaic plant and to evaluate how profitable it will be, starting from the solar energy that is effectively available in a specific locality
• SolarSAT PV-Controller: to control the working status of an existing photovoltaic plant and to manage it in order to keep the efficiency the highest possible, by continuously comparing the produced energy with the producible one

The SolarSAT integrated system is available in several configurations and is fully customizable for the company or Body that is willing to distribute it to its customers.

Products

To keep under control a photovoltaic plant, SolarSAT offers a family of data loggers which automatically collect data regarding energy production and transmit them to the central station, so that production efficiency can be comfortably consulted on the Internet.

The three models EasyLog, LightLog and SuperLog are conceived to keep under control the energy production of small, medium and big PV plants.

A family of sensors is also available for installation by the PV plant, to monitor the expected energy as an alternative option to satellite technology.

The SolarSAT sensors measure solar irradiance, photovoltaic module temperature, ambient temperature, wind speed and direction and are automatically controlled by SolarSAT data loggers.
